Alundaio use all his stuff in CoC, he have no constraint in our team. So, we can see more things than in Misery. MDT cut few features that Alundaio created in the past. So we can see CoC as a new version of CoP Reborn too.

It was, but there is not now. We deleted it for some reasons.
Few news about CoC dev:
Beta testers are playing a new build with a new binaries. Bangalore and Alundaio are fixing remaining bugs (related to engine), i hope this will be a success for them. As i understand, this is the last bug.
because IRL problems, all big projects (CNPP "all in one", Limansk...) are little frozen, i have no free time for level design. I have few things to fix in vanilla geometry for the first release and i need help Bangalore to add my graveyard level. Roads to connect level are open in Bar and in Military levels, i have few edits to do in Darkvalley.
CoC will not be playable in DX8 render (not a real new, but we didn't speak about this point). Too much problems with shaders..., so we didn't want to loose time and energy to fix it. Sorry for player with old computer.
The team continue to polish gameplay since the addition of Faction Choose system (related quests, traders, technicians...), we are thinking about how give protection to the player if we restore the psy barrier (Brain Scorcher in Radar level) et cetera...

Было бы не плохо поменять звуковое сопровождение локации Болото. В моде оно больше подходит для пустынной локации, кардона или юпитера, но никак для болота. Звуки жаб, отдаленный лай собак и другой живности как-то по уютнее)
Спасибо разработчикам желаю удачи и много много квестов к таким замечательным локациям.Моя мечта сбылась локации из 3-х частей Сталкера . С нетерпением буду ждать релиза.
Обожаю фриплейные моды. Если сделают хорошее наполнение локаций, то похоже нас ждет вообще лучший фриплейный мод. Лично я его жду больше, чем OGSE и LA.
Script for modders, it help to clean gamedata/textures folder. A gamedata without unnecessary stuff is always good.

Whoa, what is going on? CALL OF CHERNOBYL IS NOT DEAD.
Many of our core members have new obligations. New jobs, new interests, etc. Life is hard. I will do what I can to plan and host an open beta. Bangalore for the time being has stated his retirement. He is a very important figure in the development, one who supplements my skill-set and shared in the roles of coordinating the mod and the rest of the team; Our valiant wise master. 2C.LiryC, is still adamant to proceed but I think Borovos is still settling down with his new job and his ****** PC gave him problems. Our programmer and some of our friends have moved onto another STALKER project during the winter.
There is about 2 or 3 of us at the moment. Things need figured out and the project needs re-organized.
This means that features will not be in when Open Beta is released, like the new level, Trucks Cemetery. These more advanced SDK tasks are out of my skillset. The programmer who left was part of Open Xray and not crucial to the Call of Chernobyl project. He already fulfilled what we asked of him. He went to work on another great STALKER project called Ray of Hope.
The mod is near completion. We were holding off to see where we could go with Open Xray since the source was leaked. We were in the process of stripping out all unused scripts, configs, textures and other assets to create a standalone Call of Chernobyl build. There were plans to write up documentation for modders on all the new features, add some new engine enhancements, add more tasks for all the factions. All this really was just bonus and many things left on the TODO list can be cut without going back on what is promised in the header of this moddb page.

Greetings folks!
As you see, i didn’t flood the news box, this is the first news for the mod, and this is suddenly the beginning of the end.
Now i’m coming back from a 3-4 months hiatus, and of course i see, the mod is buried, considered dead, like many other mods which bitten the dust. I understand this, this is how things work, no news, no new pictures or videos, so it’s over. You have not right, the mod is not dead.
At the beginning of this year the mods stability and status reached a state what we desire to have for a release. Major, game breaking bugs are solved. It’s not 100% polished, but the last few step is the hardest to take. I started to feel, that we are just adding and adding new features and other little things, which is a good thing, but we can continue this until the eternity, and never get to a release.
Well, in this years January i made a break, and i must confess to myself, that meanwhile my modder steam wasn’t recharge, like it used to happen in the past. I can’t say now, when i will have motivation to fully come back, but it can happen anytime in the future.
But, until that uncertain future time, i can’t let Call of Chernobyl to sink into the oblivion, after so much hard work. I started the project in June 2012, and since the beginning of 2014, we work on the mod as Team EPIC. We have put everything into the mod, what we learned in the last 6-7 years about Stalker modding.
So i just cut off the development, and we will make our stuff open, and release the mod as an open beta.
So, all my projects are canceled : opened limansk, merge level with stancia 1&2 + stancia from build + stancia CS + generator merge level wild territory & bar, merge the old rostok & bar from build merge level agroprom underground duga 3 antenna redo my Bog level ...
Finally, CoC include few small modifications in current levels, and no big change as i dreamed.
Maybe I'll be back in future when I'll buy a new computer and find motivation.
I have only draft version, a lot of idea, no finish level except my graveyard. And i'm not sure than it'll be in CoC beta because it need more work to create alife.
I just hope ppl will like CoC and use it to create nice mods. And not only use it for freeplay.
